Below are a few examples of screened porches. Over the past 7 years we have been using Jackson Glass in Ripon, Wisconsin, to custom make screen panels with extruded aluminum frames. They are very strong, almost maintenance free (no painting)
We usually frame in the area that gets the screened the porch including some form of insulated, waterproof roof weather it is a standard roof type like on a house or a weather proof system for under as deck. Then Jackson Glass comes out and measures the area and in 3 to 5 weeks we have a new screened porch.
